Default 2006 Fatboy wheels on 2007 Heritage Softail

I have a set of 06 Fatboy wheels that I'd like to put on my 07 Heritage Softail. I think the rear wheels are an even swap but the 06 Fatboy front wheel uses a 3/4" axle vs a 25mm on the 07 Heritage. to me it seems there are 2 possible options. First, find a 3/4" axle to that fits in the 07 Heritage forks or second, have the center hub of the 06 Fatboy wheel bored to accept a 25mm axle. With this option I would then need to find 25mm bearings and bearing spacer for the Fatboy wheel. In both senarios I would probably need to find axle spacers for both sides of the wheel. Any suggestions on the best way to do this?
