Default Winter Upgrade

Cyclinders, Heads and clutch

I was struggling with the decision to keep my '02 Fatboy FLSTF or upgrade. I would look and at different models but always cam back to mine. This winter decided to go the big bore route. From previous owner(s) it had eliminated the poorly designed can chain drive, better cams and S&S E-type carb. Now I'm going with jugs and heads for a 98" & Rekluse clutch:

Brings back some memories....Be sure to cover that open engine, if something falls in you will have a long winter...

Good Luck!

Nice Job!! Best feeling in the world when it starts up !!!!

Now get it out on the road and seat those Piston Rings... There are a bunch of steps to follow....There is a list out there somewhere of what to do...

Sadly I can only do a few heat cycles, too much snow up this way to get out and start the break in period. Looking forward to SPRING!!
