Default Rear fender seat Bolt

Is anyone out there have an idea how to replace the bolt in the rear seat without wrecking it? It seems to have a spring in there and I can't see any way of replacing that Bolt without destroying it. THANKS..

If you mean the bolt that goes down into the fender in the center of the back seat. Just unscrew it.
The nut is held in the fender with a little snap rind on top. What bike are you working on? Year and model.

Thank you for your quick reply. But I'm not talking about the nut that's in the fender I'm talking about the screw that goes through the seat it doesn't unscrew to come out of the seat there's a spring inside of the collar and I'd like to put a better-looking screw in there but I just can't figure out how to get the old one out without destroying it. Thanks

I have no visable screws in my seats.
You would have to maybe post a pic and the screw experts would help with how to get it out.

Do you have the king/Queen seat that mounts to the sissy bar? If so, I believe you will have to remove the cover from the seat to replace it.

I think OP is talking about something similar to the below photo, i have something like this also. The seat screw itself stays attached to the bracket on the seat, with seemingly no way to remove it without cutting it off. I have also been trying to figure out a way to remove this without wrecking it.
