Default Question about Fork Sliders????

So I have a 09 FXCW that I am working on trying to get it the way I like it. So far I have put a Hawg Halters Triple Tree Wide Glide conversion kit on it so I could run breakout wheels and while I had it apart figured I would work on the front suspension, well progressive only makes a spring kit for the 49mm rocker forks and I really loved the monotube kit that I put in my FXDWG which also has 49mm forks. So what I am asking is could I just get the forks from another wideglide or any other harley with 49mm forks and just swap out the lower fork sliders to make it all work? That way I can get the monotube on the rocker? Or will I have to swap the whole fork including fork sliders and get a new axle instead? Any advice will help tremendously!
