Thumbs up Plastic bags

I suspect this issue has been addressed in the past but I thought I'd post in case it hasn't. Came out of a store to find a yellow plastic Family Dollar Store bag wrapped around my Straight Shots. Of course it was melted in place. Rode home and let the pipes cool but still warm. Sprayed Oven Cleaner on a course rag and applied it to the plastic bag remains. Let is sit for a minute and rubbed with the rag. It took two or three applications to get it all off but it worked, no damage to the chrome. I sprayed it on the rag instead of the pipes because the warnings on the can said it could attack paint and I was afraid the overspray would be a problem.

Never heard that, thanks for sharing. But what about ceramic coated pipes?
