What do you mean, when you say it didn´t work for you?

I love my tank lift on my Rocker, it looks great (same tank as the Duece). Keep in mind it also allows you to shift the tank slightly forward or rearward to suit where you want it.

I have a 2" lift on my Rocker and like it. The Deuce and Rocker share a very similar fuel tank (I have a Deuce dash on mine) , so you might get an idea....

Older bike, split tanks and center tap petcock. The angle dropped access to fuel by a gallon.
Between what was left below the front cross over tube and what was down in the lower tip of the tank
below the petcock.
Plus I did notice a top heavy feel with a full tank. This may or not been imagined though.
But the biggest issue was the useable fuel, mileage loss.

3" lift on a '14 Breakout.

Now, when my "reserve" light comes on, I know I have about 4 Liters left in my 18 Liter tank, (quite a bit). Access to the fuel is virtually unchanged though owing to the fact that the petcock on my model is near the rear 1/4 of the tank.

To see how a potential lift would look on your ride, you can do a trial lift by loosening the tab bolt at the rear of the tank and removing the large bolt at the front. Then just manually raise the front of the tank and wedge it up with a roll of towel or something so you can stand back and look at it. Later, just remove the towel and replace / tighten the bolts. You won't need to disconnect anything else.

Where did everybody buy their tank lift from? I had one on my Dyna from DK Customs which I loved the look of. They had a rear tank lift as well. But it doesn't look like the Softail tank is mounted in a similar way to the Dyna, at least not my 2000.

I had the original black DK tank lift, but just switched it out with their new Premium CNC Billet Aluminum Tank Lift, that I polished to a mirror finish (also comes in black).
The "Deluxe Option" will lift the rear...http://www.dkcustomproducts.com/soft...its-c30-39.htm

FWIW.... You resurrected 9 old (some more than 10 years old) threads to ask the same question....??? What's the point?

Maybe next time, start a new thread and just ask your question...

It will accomplish two things:

1) Your thread will get more views and be looked at by people currently reading the forum. Most 10 year olds threads won't get you a response. If you believe someone on an old thread has the answer to your question, send them a private message. Most people won't look at an old dead thread that has been brought back to life..

2) You will have just one thread that can address your specific question. The title will attract peoiple with simialr questions and/or answers

You will get far more looks and responses from a new thread, than reactivating long, dead threads...
