Anyone running DNA fat forty spokes on their softail? Post 'em up, Looking for inspiration.

 

I pulled the trigger and purchased a set, away for a few months so it's gonna be a while before I get them on the bike but will post up when I do.

 

Subbing. These wheels look great and want to see how they look on others bikes.

I had the DNA fat 52 spokes on my last deluxe and was thinking about running these 40s on my deluxe currently, Heard the spokes are fatter but want to see some in person before i drop the coin. What combo did you go with? All chrome or the black ring and hub

 

I went with the all chrome, found a killer deal online that I couldn't pass up. I've never seen them in person, but wanted something bit bit different.

 

Ah you will love them, If you dont mind me asking where online and what tires did you end up going with? Also did you go 18 in the rear or stay with the 16

 

Not a problem, I went with KC International. I'm trying something a little different, going with 18 3.5, on both the front and the rear. The DNAs were priced at 289 each, figured that was a pretty good deal and if I want the 21 up front I could change it up later. I am also going with the Metzeler 888. I've heard the Avon Cobra Chromes are really great tires, but the Metzeler's fit more of the look I was after. I know maybe form over function, but the Metzelers should work out good. Also ordered matching rotors, and a pulley.

I also ran the metzlers they were great tires and i am going to run them again. I didnt think metzler made a whitewall in 18 inch?
