Default Softail Slim owners: What have you replaced your rear fender with ?

Question:
Proud owner of a 2017 Softail slim.
Lowered the bike 2" front and rear, 21' front, Stage 2 kit, etc.
See below how the bike currently sits:

The rear fender on this bike has always bothered me. I feel its way too high off the tire, shows too much of the tire from a side profile, etc. Without going to a more "heritage" style fender what are my options ? What have other Slim owners done to their bikes ? Can the stock fender be "lowered" closer to the tire ?

As always any and all help and pics are greatly appreciated.

Shotgun it and fit a rear fender from Thunderbike. They have a GRP one where you can retain your original seat. Not a Slim but you'll get the idea.

Before

After you can have it as low as you wish as long as you shim it correctly.

I hate the way chopped fenders look. I'd go with a traditional bobtail.

I was thinking the same thing. Bike does not look lowered in the rear at all.

I had the dealer install the HD 2" lowered rear shocks when it was in for its 1000 mile service.
But after looking at other lowered slims I do agree it does look like it's sitting kinda high.

Mine is lowered 2inches in the rear and it almost sits on the rubber stoppers. So you might want to go back to the dealer and ask exactly what they did cause I hate to say it but it looks like they didn't touch the rear
