Default Fuel bottle location?

Yes, I saw the video where the guy caught on fire from his bottle busting into flames. I also saw pictures of dead riders who were going too fast, or too drunk, etc... at the end of the day we all chose how we will ride. With that said....who has a bottle mounted and where is it mounted? If you have pictures I’d like to see them. My bike will be a simple bar hopper, but I’m going from a 3.3 to a 2.2gal (by mistake, long story).

Might want to ask a moderator to move this thread to the proper forum. You'll likely get more replys.

I’m not sure sportster owners are the only people who keep a spare of bottle fuel in case they get stuck on a long dusty road, but I’m flexible.

Yep! I bought a 2/3 gallon fuel jug to carry for long rides. I plan to fill it when I top off my tank and then recycle at each fuel stop along the way,
