New Soft Tail
They made it hard to walk away from this one andtheres some thing's I need to do right away.. Lower the rear. Bars,( or just some straighter risers ) Relocate the Turn sigs,Corbin Hollywood Solo Seat. I'll do the Pipes, A/C, SERT, And I'll tune it after the break in and switch to Red Line. Then the chrome hits..On the test ride, the Smoothness was very diffrent from all my other bikes.. Even at Idle, Does it stay like that ? LOL... My S/B would almost numb your feet... Trotter

I've had my '06 Standard exactly one year today...in that time I've put 5,400+ miles on it and it's as smooth now as it was the day I rolled out of the dealer's lot on it...I have no regrets on my choice of ride and I'm guessing you won't either...enjoy!
Hey, Trotter. I also came over from a Street Bob. My Softail is far and away a better ride. It feels like your gliding over the surface of the road and your body parts, especially your hands, don't get numb from all of the vibration. And no ungodly shocks sticking onto the rear either. I'll never go back to a Dyna. Congrats on your new ride.
I went from 06 Street Bob to 07 Softail Standardwith a Ducati Monster in the middle. Picked it up on Thursday and am amazed at how smooth the B motor is compared to the Dyna motor.
The Bob turned a little nicer but thats about all it has over the Softail.
cheers
