Congrat's, I think a softail rides 10,000 times better than a wide glide and to top it off you can actually sit still and talk with someone while the bike is runnuing and it doesn't sound like your talking into a fan!

With the mods you've mentioned, you're well on your way. Next

Buying a "Soft Tail" will get you arrested for soliciting in most states.

well i finally got my new softy yesterday......what a great feeling
and i just figured out how to to the pic in my signature.........i will be taking more picks over the next few days.

Took a little time and Installed the outer primary cover and Cylinder base cover, swing arm filler pannels. Still waiting for the seat and Inner Primary..And this was gonna be a winter project
