hello, i am connecting an aftermarket Dakota Digital Speedo (MCL-5100). i want to ensure my ECM is giving out the correct 5V signal. How should i be testing the 5V sensor when the bike is set to ON?
i have a multimeter, and i am thinking the only way to test any wire at the ECM while connected is to splice into the wire a little....

any other suggestions on how to test?
