I was out for a ride and noticed while changing lanes that my right side blinker was not working. I stopped for about an hour got back on the bike, all of the other right hand controls were fine except the blinker still was not working.
Stop for a couple hours somewhere and when I went back to the bike it would not start, all of the controls on the right side were now not working. I had to tow the bike home.
At this point, I have the gas tank off and access to the plug where the right side controls plug into the harness. Is there any way to test these wires before I order new controls for the right side. I want to make sure that is the issue. Anything else I should be looking for?
You can ohm out the wires from the plug side. But to have all switches go dead, points to a different problem since the blinker and start run gets power from two different wires. Orange/white should be power to blinker and brake light, white/black should be power for start and run.
