I've got a Hogworkz HaloMaker. Low beam is good but the high beam seems widely scattered and not very useful to me. I don't do a lot of night riding so I've just lived with it for now.
Sunpie on my Heritage (all 3 lights)and Freewheeler for years with no problems.
My Son has had Sunpies on his Heritage for around 4 years with no problems.
I had heard good things about Sunpie so I bought the headlight and running lights for my 08 Heritage. The headlight flopped around in the enclosure and I never could get it mounted solidly, plus I didn't think it was bright at all. It was resting comfortably in a local landfill shortly after I bought it. Maybe I just got a bad light but I cannot recommend them.
The running lights are still on my bike but I'm not impressed with them either.
I have In LED bulb in my headlight from Hogworkz and I'm happy with that.
Did you get the mounting ring? cause if not that would cause the issue you had & honestly you probably would of been happy with the Sunpie.

Same here & its bright enough for me, all in all its a good light for the money.
Friend had a 95 Fatboy and wants a better brighter headlight. Thoughts ?
What about a Sumpie ? Direct fit ?
He's a cheap bastard, so he is not going to spend a lot.
A just a big FWIW....
If you put an LED bulb into a headlight not designed for an LED bulb, you can get a ton of light, but the pattern will often blind other traffic....
I know a lot people on forums don't care about anything other than their perspective and want to put out blinding light "for their safety".....
But blinding light is not just bad for other drivers. It can be a big problem if it triggers a case of road rage or a blinded driver hits you and/or somebody else.
We are all free to choose.... I am certainly not perfect, but I at least try to be responsible with my driving and affect on other traffic...
