Default Security fob question

I have a keyless security fob from my 2017 Low rider S. I just picked up a 2023 Low rider and it only came with one fob. Can I have the 2017 fob programmed to use with the 2023?
Thanks

I haven't been keeping up with security changes for the newer models, so it is possible it would work.

I just don't know if the '17 Security FOBs are compatible with the '23 Security system.

NOTE: I just checked the Harley online parts finder. Per the parts finder, the 2017 FOB and the 2023 FOB are both part #90300111. That means they should be interchangeable. You could use that FOB and have it added to your newer security system.

You can "program" up to two FOBs at any given time to the HD security system. FOBs can be added or subtracted by the dealer's Digital Tech computer, or several of the aftermarket diagnostic tools like the Twin Tec, Twin Scan IV, or the TechnoResearch Centurion Pro....

The caveat is you must know the FOB's serial number....

It will be listed in the security FOB section of the bike it came with, or it comes from the factory with a serial # tag.

There is also a tag inside the FOB with the number.

Thanks for that info....

I was unaware the number was also on the FOB.

Hopefully, he can have it reprogrammed.
