What do you think?
Hiflyer, I make those heat deflectors. Been doing them for almost 10 years. Just read the other posts,... like in the touring model section of this forum. I just dressed his deflectors up with pearl white and sapphie blue studs,... to be a little different instead of just standard black. Im a sponcer in here. My product doesnt trap heat or make the scoot run hotter. Im not going into a lengthly discussion here. You can do allot of reading, on what others have said about my product on the touring models. Theres quite a few that have em on their softails as well. Im only speaking about my product. RJS Originals V-Twin Heat Deflectors.

Are you sure they won't contribute to the engine overheating? It has been a big topic on this forum.

They look fine, but dude.... don't ever ride in shorts. Even if you dont care that much about the safety (which I do), isnt riding in shorts more gay than any blue and white studs on your heat deflectors?

Really can't give you a number but you can definitely feel a difference. I couldn't ride with shorts on before putting these on. It seems to direct the heat away from your legs.

Hell I don't even like riding in a t-shirt, and NEVER ride more than 50 yards from the house without a helmet, jeans, and apair of gloves on.
Agree that riding with shorts isn't the smartest thing to do. I rarely do that, wear jeans mostly now. But I had to smile when I saw your sig pic below your post. Looks like you're wearing a T-shirt, no helmet, & no gloves. Must have taken that pic within 50 yards of home.

I get by with jeans, t-shirt, boots, and fingerless gloves. I wear a DOT1/2 helmet, and a plastic set of Ray Bans.
I think your bike looks good as is, not sure I'm a fan of covering anything shinny either.
Cheers.
