Default 06 deuce clutch issue

bought a bike 2 days ago. rode it up on the trailer then into my shop. everything seemed normal. yesterday i went to ride and clutch does not disengage. happened all at once so can it b something besides clutch adjustment? 25k miles well maintained.
thanks

Start with a basic inspection of the lever and cable and then adjust the clutch by the book. If it still is an issue then you'll need to pull the Primary and Transmission covers to inspect components.

clutch disc were hung up. guess it sat longer than i thought. put it against a tree and fired it in gear, released right away. everything seems fine , even that damn clunk into 1st gear. just need to put some miles on it.
thanks!

I'll have to remember that tree thing if I ever encounter that problem on a bike.
As for the clunk, I am amazed my bike no longer does that after a new Clutch and polishing the hub and basket fingers and contact points.
It may start doing it again, who knows, but for now I find my laughing at how it drops in silently and how I can now hit neutral from first! I'm going to do that from now on everytime I have a clutch set out.

you can do it on rough concrete with the front brake. my shop floor is slick so it would just push front wheel. just got back from a short ride and all is good.
now on to finding a tuner for it. i have tuners for just about everything but none work on a harley.
was going to paint it but i kinda like the purple. we'll see. i'm a custom painter so i may just do another set of tins.
