Default Clutch issue maybe

The clutch grab on my Deuce is really strange. It grabs at the normal point but when it grabs it is quick. What I mean is you know how when you let the clutch out slowly how it gradually grabs? Mine grabs hard. As soon as it starts to grab its fully engaged. There is no gradual about it. Its to the point where I have to really give it some gas or it will stall the engine. Deuce only has 3000 miles on it. I just recently put the cams in so I do not think its from riding hard, thats not how I ride anyway. When I ride my StreetGlide its like night and day.

Try a clutch adjustment first. The amount you back off the adjuster affects how hard and when the clutch engages.

You are talking behind the derby cover correct? I thought the adjustments only effect when the clutch engages, not how hard. I will get out my service manual
