Default Brake lines

I'm going with a low drag bar setup on the standard, so the hard brake line must go.

Am I screwed to pay harley prices for a braided line? Or is the fitting standard where I can just make/autozone the part?

Plenty of choices for lines & fittings. Check some of the aftermarket catalog joints & roll yer own.

You could go to an INDY shop and they would probably have a kit ot make you a cable of special length. Maybe even color.

I put Chubby low profile drags on my FXST and changed out all my cables to stainless. Get the Magnum Shielding chromite brand. I have the HD throtal/idal cables and Chromite clutch cable and from what I can tell the HD are made by Chromite and of course cheaper. I peaced my break cable togeather using a 90 degree banjio bolt on the break resavior using standered s.s break line and the Chromite makes it look bad!! I have had the clutch cable over a year and still looks new.

Sterling Chromite II is the best out right now, you can find it thru CCI or DRAG.
It also comes it colors this year.
Or go to www.magnumshielding.com.
I've had this stuff on bikes for years and still looks good.
