Default Screamin' Eagle Slip-Ons

I have a 2007 Heritage and I found a really good deal on some Screamin' Eagle slip-on mufflers 2000-2006, but thedealer where I foundthem insists thatthey won't fit my bike. Can these mufflers be adapted to fit a 2007 model?

Skip the SE's //They don't sound much better than stock. Just got rid of mine. Had a 2007 FLSTC and went with Vance and Hines Big Shots Long and love them.

Haven't heard much good about the SE's either. If you can find the $, I'd recommend a full system.

BTW, I think Reinhart has some slip-ons too. I've only heard their full systems but they are SWEET!

They mount different and wont fit. I saw them for $124. I went with rush for $240. It was an EPA thing so they cant be used. Yep the SE dont sound any louder than stock but are deeper tone. With rush you can order the baffles for the loudness you want.

Well contrary to the above info, they WILL fit your bike. I put a set on my '07 Heritage. It is a lot of work. but I found it to be worth it for my taste. I like the sound of the SE II's. First of all, you will need to find the early style frame bracket that mounts those particular mufflers. It will bolt on to your bike. Next, you will have to re-use your head pipes because they have the O2 sensor bungs installed. At this point you will need to determine whether or not you want to keep the cross over/balance tube. I chose to remove mine, therefor, I had to cut it out of the head pipes and fabricate patches. Lastly you will have to shorten the neck on each muffler to fit the mounting bracket, then re-slot them and bolt them on. They work well, and sound much better on the 96" motorthan they do on the 88" motor. Like I said, they are a lot of work.
If you don't have any fabrication skills or tools, it's probably best to install a set of bolt/slip on aftermarket mufflers and ride.

SE slip ons are junk.

Just bite the bullet and get a full system, 2:1.

D&D, VH, Rinehart, Thunderheader, etc.

I have SEII's on my '04 FB. Personally I like them, both the sound and the look.To each his own.I would go with what your dealer says. They changed fm the TC88 to the 96's in '06, so I wouldn't be surprised if the SE's you're looking at wouldn't fit.
