What is a "Bad Boy"

I have heard of the harley Bad Boy, but what is it, a fat boy, a softail standard type? I'm guessing it was or is a limited edition bike? This is just for curiosity, because I have never seen one at the dealers.

Basically, it was a springer softail (FXSTS) with a blacked out springer front end. Harley made them for a short time in the mid-90's. Too bad they don't make them anymore. They sure were sharp looking bikes.
