Default Does anyone know?

Does anyone know what the black hose is for that is behind the splash guard and visible from left side of bike? I have an 07 Fatboy, and I noticed a drop of some kind of fluid right under hose on my garage floor. I called dealer and they said it might be some kind of over flow hose but they weren't sure.

i believe its a breather tube for the fuel tank. if your getting much of a leak from it i would get the stealer to take a look at it.

In California it is probably a Charcoal canister vent. Elsewhere I'm not sure!

That's about where the fuel tank vent exits on my scoot. If you overfill the tank, gas will run out of that hose.....and alot of it if you REALLY fill it to the brim.
