Default fuel leak ???

i keep smelling gas every now and again and today i noticed the fuel line right below the petcock is wet with gas . cant really tell what to replace looks like no dripping when running. any ideals???

could be the line, petcock, hell it could be the tank. without seeing exactly where it's leaking from it's impossible to tell.

Do you turn the petcock to the off position when you're done riding?

my tank developed a crack right around the petcock bung after my accident, had to get it welded up by my indy. I rebuilt the petcock and sealed the threads and replaced the hoses 6 times before i realized it was the tank...

just something to check.

i do turn the petcock off and i dont think its leaking until i turn it back on but i need to do more investigating im sure. on way to work tonight the sun[good lighting]was on it and i couldnt tell anything was leaking. but at home before i started it it was wet with gas.
