Default fuel tank vent
Got a 2008 FXDL and it has recently started dripping gas out of the fuel tank vent line. Is this something that has always been there or have I just started noticing it. I could maybe undrstand if the tank was full but right now, mine is only 1/2 full.

The vent is an opening for fuel splashing, it should never leak gas. Well at least mine doesn't, not sure what causes that tho. I also heard newer HD has vented gas cap, it could be it.

Not sure what the cause might be. I've had mine leak once, but it had a full tank of gas and was sitting in the hot summer sun for a few hours. I've never had any leaks other than that.

I had it happen one time this past summer, I overfilled the tank and it was hot as hell. Never had it before or since.
