Yep. more pullback.... Just something about the stock handlebars that made my wrists hurt... wrong angle i think. Now i sit perfect where no strain on the back. Yea. i may have to add some pegs too .

Back to the weather - we even had frost here last nite ________________________- are those Hd pegs you have ?

Poorboy, I put the Wild 1 Chubbies W518 on my Fatty. Made all the difference in the world. Vs. stock, they are 1/2" each side wider, back 2" and up 1" Didn't need to change any cables or lines. The front brake line needed to be altered slightly but the length ended up working out. Overall, between the bars, moving the floorboards forward 2" and the mustache bar, it is much much more comfortable than stock.

Let me know if you need further info.

voyager1,

I just still had my instruction sheet and scanned it for you. I am glad I purchased the engine guard as I put the bike down once and can only imagine the damage had I not had it on.

Thanks for the info Pres1! BTW your fatty looks awesome! I am going to try to keep my stock bars, and mainly want to replace the risers. I know the aftermarket places will get some offerings sooner or later.

voyager1- My clamps & pegs are from HD. I bought 4 footpegs at once so I could match my passenger pegs to the pegs I installed on the mustache bar. (the peg part # 50576-05)

Poorboy, I want to add this guard to my 2008 Fatty - two quick questions for you: 1. What again was the part number for this guard? and 2. Does this guard get scrapped like foot boards or doesn't get scrapped too bad/at all? Thanks!

I was going to go with the Lindby Twinbar which has built-in foot pegs. Any reason inparticular made you go with the HD mustache bar? I want to make sure I consider all options before spending more $$.
