can you put a larger dia. on this bike? any photos out there?

 

I have a Metzler chart I can email you that has the stages for increasing size and what needs to be done and what will fit.

 

if you could that would be great.

 

18" wheel will fit with no issues

 

the swingarm is the same as a 06 standard with 200 tire. u can put on a 18 x 5.5 with a 200 tire if you get the right spacers and offset spacer for the tranny.

 

But will that 200 fit in his fender. The bobtail fenders on the 06 FXST's and the 07 customs thathave 200 rearsare much wider than the 04 FXST fender.

 

You can run an 18" rear wheel, but you will have to stay with the same size tire unless you modify (widen) the rear fender and struts.

 

thanks for the info, i wanted to go to an 18 if possible. so then i should only lower the profile of my tire.
