Default rattling noise

I'm hearing a rattling noise on the left side of my 2008 softail custom sounds like it's coming from somewhere between my primary case to the rear wheel.&nbsp\\; sitting at a stop light revving the engine I do not hear the rattle but I do in lower gears really loud if I take off fast.&nbsp\\; I just replaced my rear foot pegs and notice that they gradually move from the up position to the down more so on the left side foot peg than the right.&nbsp\\; Holding on to the foot peg in first gear I can still hear the noise so I'm not thinking that my foot peg is causing the problem.&nbsp\\; Does anyone know what might be causing the noise or where I should look?&nbsp\\;
Recent work completed by Harley dealership:
Installed new front and rear rotor, pulley&nbsp\\;and Lojack 4wks ago.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;Started hearing the rattle 2wks later.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;

I've heard some of the new bikes have a bad compenstor because it's been redesigned (cheaper) or the bolt that holds it just coming loose

Interested in this.&nbsp\\; My primary is louder than I think it should be, but doesn't change with the clutch or load.&nbsp\\; The chrome rear drive belt cover was tapping on the frame when I first got mine.&nbsp\\; Just tweaked it a bit.

check ur bolts... some can rattle loose..

had some rattling in my front end.. thought it might be some of my wiring smacking around in my nacelle.. BUT
Nope it was my brake calipers bolts coming loose.. so I fixed em up with some blue loctite and torqued to spec
