tring to install billet brake lever, canot get out clevis pin

Yep, there is a small c clip under lever. A small screw driver or needle nose will remove it and you can press it back on. The pin will then just push out.

i the clip out but the front of the clevis pin is pressed in i took plieres and worked it out

Once you get the clip out you might need to use some channel locks to push the pin out. That's what I needed on my Deuce.
