So I take my X Bones in for the 1k service... something I do not normally do... but had a few problems with the bike so I thought what the hell... gave them the list of problems when I go in... They call me about 5 hours later and say my bike is ready... I asked what did you find with this... the answer... its fine sir... what about that I ask.... oh we test drove it and couldn't find anything wrong with it... long story short... of all the problems I listed they did not find anything wrong with any of it... WTF!!!

My Sportster has never seen the inside of a dealership since I bought it... I guess the X Bones has seen its last... I guess trying to find a problem takes to much times and cuts in the their gravy time... you know adding accessories and services... The Bitches...

yep, that sounds about right. I think they teach them that stuff at service school. My favorite is the answer for oil leaks. "It's not leaking - someone must have overfilled it.."&nbsp\\; or "That's the first time we've ever seen that problem.." That's why I never go to the stealer for anything.

 

Man I don't have that problem with my dealer their great&nbsp\\; Southern Tier H-D in Binghamton, NY&nbsp\\; Almost the whole club uses them and there 75 miles away.&nbsp\\; We don't go to the local dealer.

 

try another dealer. i had one that said that about my noise from the front at 60mph. I was concerned so went to another dealer and they took me in without appointment and said it was a safety issue and fixed it while i waited. the noise was from a bad front wheel bearing. they said it could have locked up on me and fixed it under the warranty.
