Default 2004 anniversary

Someone locally has a 2004 Heritage Softail Classic Anniversary model For Sale. I know 03 was and anniversary year for all Harleys. Is 2004 some sort of softail anniversary?

I've never seen nor heard of a 2004 Anniversary model...

Maybe a typo? Maybe he bought a 2003 in 2004?

Are you kidding - EVERY year is an anniversary for the MoCo! See my sig for reference...

Seriously though - it may have been an anniversary for the model?

The 2004 was the first year anniversary of the 2003's.

Actually, the '04 anniversary bikes had the best color choices! It is a shame that they were immediately put into safe keeping as future collectibles as there were very few official 101'st anniversary bikes produced. Pure chrome and darker than vivid black were awesome colors! :^)

first S/T came out in 1984. My first new Harley, any color you wanted as long as it was red or black.

I am doing this for someone else and now he says it might have been some sort of special or limited edition. I am a RK person and not a walking encylopidia of softail models.
