I have a 2007 Deluxe with a Heritage Springer seat w/gelpad. I'm hurting after a few hunded miles, any suggestions for a more comfortable seat? Thanks

 

I took mine to a custom seat guy he put a gell pad and shaved out the back I also had it covered in leather and ostrig skin . the gel should of helped

 

was the seat reshaped before the gel pad was installed or was it just laid over the top of the foam?

 

I couldn't ride with the stock seat. I put the Corbin seat made specifically for the Deluxe that allows you to still use the seat rail. This seat is extremely comfortable.......I can ride all day with no problems. I love it.

yes it was reshaped. Some times you have to go with something custom. the only problem is it is a lot of money and if you dont like it your stuck
