Default Fav Deluxe seat

Hey all just got back from a 1300+ kilometer ride on the Deluxe with a Lepara Barebones seat needless to say i gotta sore as_! So with the stock seat being so uncomfortable and the barebones good for the city what is your favorite most comfortable single seat that i can look at. Should i buy one with or without a backrest or should i do what i started to do and have the stock seat re-shaped gel pad installed and put the springer back rest on it????? I know its a personal choice but some help is appreciated. If it helps im 5'11"- 250lb's. Thanx in advance! Teflon

For longer rides I use the factory seat. Love my C&C but if I go over 300+ miles I can't sit on the C&C that long. I know I can send it back to get more padding put in.

I like the stock seat look but wanted more comfort and a backrest so I purchased a Mustang Vintagesolo seat. I've had other Mustang seats on several of my previous rides and enjoyed the comfort on long trips. Look on ebay or the classified sections of Harley forums, you can buy them for a reasonable price. Good luck in your search...

I am 6' 275 and have tried the barebones, stock and a heritage seat. My favorite is the stock seat modified. I removed material to sit me back about an 1.5" down about an inch. Its great the heritage seat is a close second. The heritage seat is for sale if you want it its like new. Pm me.
