Default lower the cross bones

Has anyone lowered the front end of a Springer on the new cross bones? If you have does the fender hit like it does on the other FL models or will it clear like the FX Springer’s. I want to lower my FL Springer either with the shorter springs or the reverse rockers but do not want to hit the fender. If it will work on the cross bones then I may think about switching front fenders. thanks

I don't think the tire will hit the fender as the fender moves with the front tire when hitting bumps.

Thanks for the replier. I should have been more specific about what I was asking. I want to know if the fender will hit the bottom acorn nuts on the underside of the forks if you use either the shorter springs or the rocker kit to lower a Cross Bones Springer. Both kits say they are not to be used on the FL Springer’s. The best I can tell is that the reason they do not want you to use these two kits is because the fender will bottom out on the acorn nuts if you lower the front end. The Cross Bones has a different fender, one that might sit more like an FX Springer, so it might allow you to lower the front end. I f anyone has done it please let me know or if anyone knows if it can be done please let me know. Thanks

I dont know how much you plan on lowering the front end, but I would think there is some room to play with. Just by looking at my crossbones front end, I cant imagine that the fender would hit if it was lowered a inch or so.
