I am wanting to put a set of 20 inch apes on my 08 custom anybody ever use the wiring extensions or did they make their own i thought about trying to find a stock set of black switches with wires and making them longer anybody done this any info is appreciated thanks

 

I used the Namz extensions and they worked great. They were cheap, ends already in place, came with all the shrink tubing and were color coded. Simplified things a great deal. Novello makes one as well but they were about twice the price for the same stuff.

 

+1 on the Novello extensions. I did not know about the Namz extensions when I did mine.

 

another one here for novello extensions....easy and no hassle. I've installed 2 sets of apes, one I used the extensions, and one I spliced and soldered the connections. From now on I will stick with extensions...much faster....for me anyway
