Default FBW full explaination.......

Well after reading about all the guys not sure they are happy with FBW I found this write up. I have it on my 08 of course and I found this very helpful. Please note in the story the part numbers for the throttle wieing so you can run apes with FBW.

You don't need the extended wires unless you go taller than 13". And other companys have extended harness for less money.

FYI..... I checked out the part number shown for the extended wireing at Chicago HD and it did not take it as a part number! They must have mis printed it.

Well written article.

I haven't noticed any recent "accident due to TBW" posts even though there are more bikes with TBW on the road everyday.
Didn't even see any of the old threads dragged up over the winter
