Default power commander,do i need a dealer remap?

i have been told by a local indy wrench that if i get a PC and install the Screaming Eagle A/C which i already have but not installed yet, that i dont need to have my stealer do the recalibration ,the PC will do it on its own(rush slips ons already on the bike,07 softy standard).this sound rite to you guys?

yeah you'll need to find the right map for your setup in the library of maps that PC has, or here, but even better would be to take it to a dyno shop and have them make the map for your bike.

ever bike is slightly different...even one that have the concecutive serial numbers are different...so having it dyno tuned is usually the best

niczumbo, If you haven't purchased the PC yet, wait a few weeks for the PC V. Talk to Jamie at FuelMoto. He said should be ready for all EFI bikes, not just for the 09'. Just a thought...

i disagree, to get it all out, you need a custom map by a good tuner

I just went this road. PC says they will get you 90% +- where you need to be. Mine felt a little off, I called PC and they gave me some setting you can adjust with the software. It was good enough for me. The local stealer wanted $700 to do a custom map. I'm sure I will change something else on the bike soon and need a new map. 700 a pop will add up quick. Just my 2 cents.
