I like the stock bars on my 08, but have never tried any other except the drag style on the Fat bob which was bad for me due to clamshell effect and weight down and forward on hands. The new 09 Heritage is a bit higher and a shorter windscreen, I would like to test drive one to see the difference.

Put 16inc on my 06 and it got rid of pain in shoulder blades. Did 750 miles one day with no pain.
