Aynone know where I can get a laydown license plate holder for a 08 Deluxe or something that gets rid of that OEM plate holder? I'm trying to go with the solo look and that stock plate holder doesn't cut it.

 

I use the plate relocation kit from Softbrake. It relocates the plate below the taillight and provides a much cleaner look, especially solo. Do a search. There are plenty of pics here. This was also discussed here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...relocator.html

 

Thanks jwilson, that's what I'm looking for. I assume you need to buy the tombstone lens plus the relocation bracket for the clean look. Do you know anything about the LED plate frame?

Yup, two separate parts: the license plate bracket and the new tombstone housing. I strongly suggest a lift of some sort for installing; however, it can be done without.

Can't help with the LED Frame.

 

Thanks for your help, I just ordered everything including the LED plate holder from Softbrake.

 

Rocker +1 on the Softbrake. I went with their license plate frame that has 7 LED's built in under the top lip that lights up the plate very well. Its a bit pricey though..$50 dollars. If you check the site, one of the guys put one on similar I think for J&P that was much less and looked very good. Attached is a pic, not the best quality.
