This must be a (In Ur Dreams) type question.

Most in this Softail section can't afford a new bike let alone a new CVO. either a Chrome or Dark sided one..
This is not a slam, its just the facts I've observed over the past 5 yrs.
Most Softails owners, well over 50% in here have bought their bikes used.

So IMO if theirs not very many that can afford/want to buy a New (Non-CVO bike), How many could even afford/want to buy a New CVO bike.?

Buying a CVO bike makes sense to me IF Ur going to Add a LOT of MODS to a new bike and plan on doing it off the HD's walls.

Buying a DARK SIDE CVO might be an option If it was done right for those with the money.

I've seen three new stock bikes at our Dealership that was modded to the tune of over 40K each.

1st, an 07 Duece a Dr from Indy had over $25k of mods on. Before it left the dealership new.

2nd one, really blew my mind, a guy bought an 08 NT then spent over $14k chroming it out, plus doing another $7k in motor mods. ?? Why buy a NT and then chrome it out?

3rd, a salesman at our dealer spent $45K plus on a 09 all custom Street Glide with all the stock tins. This bike is my pick and was a GREAT looking bike and FAAAAST!!!

Point is all of these bikes cept the last one after a yr or two will be worth a lot less than the same Yr CVO bike that cost at least $10K less to begin with.

So why would most members in here even want to buy a New CVO bike that cost twice the $$$ even if it was blacked out compared to what most in here end up paying for a Used bike and then fix it up the way they want to.??

$16k (Used fixed up ) VS $30K +(New CVO) ????? .

So bottom line is would I buy one,, prob NOT....
