whats up with screaming eagle?

how come i have heard screaming eagle parts have been put on hold in CA? i have heard that dealerships hear can not sell them, because of of all that EPA . is this true?

I know all the SE exhausts are not available in CA, that happened around mid-year. Don't know if they blocked anything else.

Most likely CARB has finally entered into barring non-certified parts from being sold. So HD would have to pay to get them certified.

'F' California. Pull all mfg from them and let them rot in their worthless regs.

Dont know about calf. but harley discontinued all non EPA parts, not the screaming eagle name, but all mufflers they sell are now EPA 50 state legal. Also a lot of other performance parts that would void emmisions are gone as well.

Most of the dealerships in CA do not carry non street leagal parts, and harley does not advertise them, but they are available by special order. The SERT is not street legal, but virtually all of the CA dealerships have them. They will no longer install the parts or set up your SERT for download, but you can do that on your own.
