Default Bad Experience with UPS

I need to vent a little even though this is the Softail Forum I was just wondering if anyone else here had a bad experience shipping with UPS here is mine I sent my tins to be painted to a painter in Ohio I am in NY shipped them to him via Fedex and no issues delivered on time and safely as usual with Fedex that is why I always use them He shipped them back via UPS and guess what there were 2 boxes one with the tanks and one with the fenders well they lost the box with the fenders and they could care less I have the Heartland 250 kit and the fenders are $700 for the both of them. I am out $700 and my bike will not be ready for Daytona so I will miss out this year. The part that really annoys me is how nasty they are whem I call and ask for help locating these parts they say your not the shipper and we will not tell you anything but they are my parts not his. This is not the first thing UPS lost on me that is why I use Fedex so if anyone else here had a similar issue please post maybe UPS does not deserve to be trusted with our important items

They delivered some stuff i ordered to the wrong house before, the driver had the right address # wrong street. He delivered it one street down. I called when i got an email saying that my package had been delivered, but I didn't have it. they tracked it done in about an hour.

Yeah, I usually always make sure I have a tracking number when someone ships something to me and never had a problem

those f**king guys suck !!! three days ago they were supposed to deliver a set of hubs to my house. instead of ringing my door bell the freaking driver gave the parts to my neighbor. I was home all morning waiting for the delivery, i go to the computer to check the status and to my amazement it said the package had been delivered.

i called them and they sounded like a bunch of fumbling idiots on the phone. i happened to stumble on my neighbor who bought it to my attention that the driver had approached them and given them MY PACKAGE. can you believe that ????? they are lucky I found the box, otherwise someone at that Sh**t hole would have been in a world of hurt.

lol, they ended up being the wrong hubs anyway, but still.

Make sure those fuc*ers pay for your lost parts !!!!!

I'm a UPS Customer service rep, 96 Softail.
Did the guy put insurance on them when he sent them back? If he didn't, I would be blaming him.
If he did, file a claim.

That whole insurance thing cracks me up, you have to pay more to guarantee that what you already paid to have shipped gets there..... sounds like a racket call the feds that's got to fall under the RICO act.
