What cam to use ?
If its only sound you're looking for, like the cams of yesteryear it will be hard to do with a new motor. The computer in the 08' models maintain 950 to 1000 RPM's. That won't give much of a lopping sound.
There is no right answer, everyones opinion will be different, Iv had to bikes with cams an 07 deuce with a SE 204 which I traded and now have a 09 train with a SE 204 cam..
I have vance and hines BSL's and you can definatley tell its cammed, i also got great tq #s out of the cam with a sert race tuner and good dyno so again its all up to you

I went with the SE 211 cam in my 95" build and the lope and performance and sound I think you'll like. The only thing about the 211 cams is that they really work best in the mid to upper range. But, the cams are setup to run with a high compression engine, don't think the stock 96" would have enough. Might be a good enough reason to do a little extra engine work.
