Front Brake Bleeding Problems

With the bike on the kickstand and the front wheel all the way to the left, bleed the caliber until no more air showing. Next turn the wheel all the way to the right and bleed again to get the rest of the trapped air out of the caliber....

is that with/out the cap on? sounds like spillage might be a problem without..and I don't want any B F on the bike anywhere..

$45 from my local auto parts store and I have good brakes. DEFINATELY worth the money

Take the cover off of the master cylinder and slowly press the brake handle you will see bubbles in the master when the bubbles stop close the master cover and you should have normal pressure it takes a while but I find this works best bleeding the front brake is a PIA but I always use this system and it was taught to me by a pro builder

just had the same problem, after 2 days of zip tying my brake lever closed I solved it by buying a $20 vaccum pump from harbor freight. or your local autoparts store. the name brand pump I think is called a mightyvac. Makes it a one man, 15 min. job.

I do not have a vacuum pump, however I do want to buy one. 20 dollars seems like the way to go.

I've got the $20 bleeder from harbor freight also. 100% the way to go!

When i changed to braided mine didn't bleed ,just dripped, HD wrench told me to throw washers that came with the kit and replace with copper washers on banjo..bled straight away.

I had the same isssue when I put on my 16" apes, mighty vac from Harbor Freight and all was fixed in minutes. It will come in handy for other jobs too.
