Default '05 Deluxe Primary drain plug question

Changed out a friends oils the other day and drained the primary and found that the drain plug for it was smaller and required a smaller o-ring than for the engine or tranny. The dealer gave me three o-rings and all were the same size. Went back and asked about it and they didn't have a clue. Am I nuts or they uninformed and it should have a smaller o-ring?

Thanks Kuma and I know it's a stupid question but really f***ked with me that the parts guys at the dealer didn't even know and the one that gave me the parts even rides rides a softail. Was like they didn't carry the smaller o-ring.
