Default C&C solo vs Mustang Tripper solo

Currently I have a LePera Bare Bones Solo seat. Looks cool but not comfortable to ride on for very long at all. I'm looking at either the C&C Solo (2 piece) or the Mustang Tripper Solo. Anybody have either of these seats? Opinions?

Had the BareBones w/gel, sold it, now have a C&C Solo on the way. I looked at the Mustang Tripper and it appeared to me that it sits the rider up. I would rather be down in the bike. And if the C&C doesn't fit my expectations, then the search will continue. Most of my riding is short trips, 200 miles and under, so I want to at least have the best solo seat for those jaunts.

The C@C fitted me like a glove. It puts you in the bike instead of sitting you on top of it. I might be sending my heartland seat out to the guys at C@C to make it somewhat like the sport touring seat I had. C@C makes the best seat IMOP. Like a Glove!!!!

Well I just put the 1st ride in on the CC solo seat, went 41 miles and have to say that not once was I thinking about the seat,it sets ya down and back and the ride was very compfy.I could of went a easy 2-3 hundred miles with it but the weather here is still snow and ice....
Big thumbs up to the CC solo seat.....MHO....

I have the Mustang tripper and I like it.
It's very comfortable even on long trips, I can't compare it to the C&C as I've never had one, but in my opinion it keeps you in about the same seating position as the stock seat.

I have the C&C solo on my EGC and love it. I used the Mustang Solo on my Deluxe for 30K miles before moving up to the Corbin.

I have both a C&C solo and a Mustang Solo for my Deuce. There is a difference. The C&C is more low profile, stylish and contoured to the bike (looks better - still comfortable). The Mustang has a steeper bucket in back for better back support, very comfortable. I generally use the C&C however, any kind of extended trip, I throw on the Mustang. If I was going to pick one, I would probably choose the C&C because of the fit with the bike and I don't do many 300 mile days. I've done some 150 mile days on the C&C and it was fine.

Just got done with a 150 mile ride on my new C&C Solo. I had the LePera BareBones before so to compare the two......The C&C is more comfortable, and I had gel in the LePera. I think the C&C sits me just a tad bit up and a tad bit more forward than the BareBones but not very much at all. Maybe a 1/2" each way. The C&C really looks good on my FatBoy but the Lepera did also. I think the C&C will stay on it until something new comes along that fits my flat *** and long legs better. A well made product with an affordable price tag.
