Default Confusion

ok guys....i know this has been posted a million times before but the more i read the more confused i get. My bike has the SEII slip on's on it.....so does this mean that the guy had to do the stage 1 upgrade? I am putting on the V/H straightshot pipes and want to know if i have to have it rejetted or put on the stage one or both or what. do i have to touch the ignition also? any help would be great...thanks guys

Default RE: Confusion

95Softail..............I bought my bike used...........it came with SE II's slip-ons on it, but it still had the stock Air Cleaner. So, unless your A/C was upgraded, you do not have a complete Stage One done to your bike. If you do add an upgrade to your A/C you will have to re-jet. Mine is not carbed, but I did have a Power Commander III USB added to my bike, which will make it easier to change the air/fuel adjustment when I do upgrade to a new A/C.

Not sure if this helps. If you don't have the upgraded A/C, there should be a plastic spacer(maybe black in color) Behind the A/C cover.
