Default Need help...

Anyone out there ever change the bearings from one swingarm to put into another one. Is there an easier way to take them out. It has a snap ring in which I cannot get out on either of the two of the bearings. Please, I need advice. Any help out there...Thanks...Ray

I just removed my swingarm to have powder coated. You have to get yourself a pair of snap ring pliers and a small flat bladed screwdriver and work those snap rings off. You may have to use the driver and a small hammer to lightly tap the snap ring out of the groove due to possible build up of rust or just grime.

Then if you do not have a press available to you then bring it to the closest shop to have the bearings pressed out then vice versa when installing new ones.
