Cleaning the chrome
Aerosol Honda Pro Cleaner or Plexus will make the chrome sparkle. I may use liquid turtle wax chrome polish once in a while when I have a couple hours to spare
.
Only warning I've heard about using ammonia based products has been regarding the Lexan windshield. I use only Plexus on the shields.

I have read on other threads that Plexus is only sold by the case...is that true or can you buy it by the can? If so, where do you find it?
Master Formula
Its all I use on the chrome & aluminum, wipe on, buff off. I use the metal Gloss for cleaning and polishing, ad the sealer afterwards to protect for 3-6 months depending on the conditions I ride in.
My aluminum looks close to chrome..this stuff really makes it shine..
Plexus for the windshield, and Wizards for the paint.

I leaned up against my hot pipes and didn't notice it until I had a burn on my shin. Unfortunately, it also left a nasty melted plastic coating on my pipes. I read a couple forums and most recommended Turtle Wax Chrome Polish. It was very cheap and took off the plastic coating very easily. Mixed with a microfiber towel, it works best for me.
I'm sure there are a million other products out there though.
