Relocated coil is the only way to go! Ditching the seat post is awesome!

well raaaa, now i got more questions, according to my local stealer, the 06 and earlier coils come with 3 wires, the 07s as you know have 4.so how did you overcome that issue? i also asked the stealer when you have a 103 or 110 kit done to your motor, does it come with a diff coil? he said no same one. im just thinking about taking the old seat post and cutting it and welding a bracket on it and powdercoat it black and just use the stock coil cover with the plugs wires in the pic

Sorry Nic, but your contact at the dealership needs to pull his head out of his butt and inform you correctly. My '06 has 4 wires to the coil.....

well thats the reason i come here tex, cause you cant get correct answers from a stealer.raaaa pointed that fact out in his first post.of course i dont the luxury of having two bikes like raaaa either,so i would still have to get ANOTHER coil to try his version of this mod.i do appreciate all you guys input on this.i was about 100 miles north of my house yesterday on other business and stopped at a HD stealer i saw while driving back home.their version was why not just use a rocker coil and do it that way? so i said hmmmmm ,whats a rocker coil and bracket run?---would you believe 150 bucks? and the rocker coil looks like a friggin gernade imho.so i lol and left that place.i aint giving up on this yet, someone here will straight my dum azz out and show me the way

I must be extra dense tonight, but I can't picture that. Do you have a picture of where you put it?
