Default Night train help!

Dropped the front spacers when i was taking off front wheel on 06 night train can some one tell me what side the bigger bearing goes on and do the nothced face the wheel bearing ro away from them... one spacer is 1/4 inch or so bigger than other what side do they go on

Notch's go toward the wheel bearing. As for which side. your wheel will only spin right if they are on the right sides.

I think the bigger one go's to the brake side

In my manual it shows the notches away from the bearings and the bigger spacer going on the brake side. I have an 08 though, which shouldn't matter.

I was told the notches are left over from earlier models and make no difference. In fact, the chrome spacers that you get from HD don't have those notches I don't believe.

I was trying to go by memory, So i'd believe what your manual said, I'm sure it's the same for many years.

The notchs were probably from when dust covers were used.

I agree, doesn't matter where the notches go, and the wheel will only work with the spacers in one way too. Trial and error my man.
